The team of the Chair of Geoinformatics from Technical University of Munich won the "Best Paper Award" and the "Best Young Researcher Paper Award" of the Smart Data Smart Cities and 3D GeoInfo Joint International Conference 2022 in Sydney. Congratulations!

The research team of the Chair of Geoinformatics focuses on virtual 3D city and landscape models, urban system modeling, and smart cities. With a remarkable seven accepted publications, the team around Prof. Thomas H. Kolbe received the well-deserved "Best Paper Award" and the "Best Young Researcher Paper Award".
