Election of the TUM ED´s Gender Equality Officers

The School Council of the TUM School of Engineering and Design will elect the Gender Equality Officer and the Deputy Gender Equality Officers for the upcoming term of three years on October 7th 2026.

The Gender Equality Officer and Deputy Gender Equality Officers advocate for the interests of women within the TUM ED, support the promotion of equal opportunities, and contribute to relevant personnel, structural, and strategic decision-making processes. This important role offers the opportunity to actively foster a diverse, fair, and future-oriented academic environment.

Dean Prof. Christoph Gehlen would therefore like to encourage all eligible academics to consider standing for election. By serving in this role, you can help shape the development of our School and contribute to advancing gender equality and equal opportunities.
