The Leonhard Obermeyer Center is partnering with the TUM Georg Nemetschek Institute | Artificial Intelligence for the Built World and the Chair of Architectural Informatics to support the Machine Learning and Architecture: S/M/L/XL workshop and lecture series, taking place from 13–16 July 2026 at the TUM Main Campus. Across four days, the Georg Nemetschek Institute welcomes Dr Guy Austern (Technion – Israel Institute of Technology) as a guest scientist, alongside Coral Hamo-Goren and Prof. Dafna Fisher-Gewirtzman, for a keynote, a two-day PhD workshop, a guest lecture, and a Boost-Hackathon at the intersection of machine learning, architecture, and urban analysis. The series is open to students, researchers, and PhD students. Applications to participate in the workshop are now open and can be submitted by email to info.ai@ed.tum.de.
