AEC/O Hackathon 2025 – November 21-23
The Leonhard Obermeyer Center is partnering with the TUM Venture Labs | Built Environment to support the AEC/O Hackathon 2025 – Munich Edition, taking place from November 21–23, 2025 at the Technical University of Munich City Campus.
This exciting three-day event brings together over 100 students, researchers, and professionals to tackle 10 real-world corporate challenges in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) sectors. Participants will form interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative digital solutions, exploring cutting-edge technologies from AI and software development to digital models and smart workflows.
Whether you're a coder, engineer, designer, or business strategist, this hackathon offers a unique opportunity to collaborate on bold concepts and prototypes with immediate industry relevance. The event is co-organized by TUM Venture Labs | Built Environment and GROUNDBREAKERS, supported by a strong network of industry partners.
All LOC members are encouraged to participate in this innovative event that bridges the gap between academic research and practical industry solutions. Applications for participation are now open and can be submitted here.

BIM World Munich 26.-27. November 2025
Das Leonhard Obermeyer Center und der Runder Tisch GIS e.V. kooperieren auch in diesem Jahr mit der BIM World MUNICH 2025. Diese Veranstaltung, die am 26. und 27. November 2025 im ICM - International Congress Center Messe München stattfindet, ist die Leitveranstaltung für die Digitalisierung der Bau-, Immobilien- und Facility Management Branche.
Im Rahmen dieser Kooperation werden Vertreter des Leonard Obermeyer Center und des Runder Tisch GIS e.V. am 26. November vom 16:00 bis 17:00 Uhr Vorträge halten. Alle LOC-Mitglieder sind herzlich eingeladen, an dieser wichtigen Veranstaltung teilzunehmen.
