The Erasmus Mundus offers a master in the booming field of Multiphase Systems. With the ambition of educating a new generation of industrial experts, engineers, and researchers, it brings the Chemical Industry into a new age based on sustainable processes, the circular economy and all the potential of digital tools.
It will help fill the skill shortage gap via the combination of strong research, excellent teaching, novel didactics concepts, and intersectorality with a strong industrial involvement.
The Multiphase program is focused on multiphase systems — solid, liquid or gas phases interacting in industrial processes. The programme combines chemical engineering, physical chemistry, sustainable technologies, and numerical modelling, delivered by three universities: Mines Saint-Étienne (France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and TUM.
The master program offers strong career opportunities in major transition sectors (energy, materials, environment, health). It combines advanced multiphase science, sustainable chemical technologies, and digital modelling (HPC, AI), with direct industry collaboration across three leading European universities.
Graduates access careers in process engineering, green technologies, R&D, simulation, or pursue a PhD.
